Boston musician, Donnie Martin returns to his roots with his Amhod project as a reminder of how minimal instrumentation can spark a listener’s imagination.  As an ambient project, Amhod takes broad concepts and expresses them via a classical ideology with a modern twist.  His multi-layered soundscapes are a simple concoction of violin, a looper, a dash of space, and instinct to glue it all together.  The result is a blurred improvisation of pure expression free from structure.
